some toys I made

Here's Tweet and Chirps little thing I made them. I got sores on my hands from putting the holes in the sticks, so I've decided to wait till DH brings home a hand drill from his dads. But they made the sores worth while because they love it. Tweet sleeps on the upper part every night.

Here's a little toy I made for when they're on top of their cage, but they've been pulling it throught the top while they're inside and chewing on it.

And here's one I made for Little Miss No Name. I made her another that's just one stick on the bottom with a bunch of beads nothing special.

I've made some for Greycie and Opal but they have yet to touch them. And they're just simple little ones. And I have one in with T&C that's thier names so it's just 2 things hanging down and they love that one too.
Sorry they're blurry my camera likes to focus on everything BUT what I want it to.

I like the first one a lot. We have been in toy mode here because our baby comes soon. I think we'll have a go at that first one, if it's ok with you! We made a few like the others (I have 3.5 year olds, and those are easiest for them.) I also made one with willow sticks that I cleaned and baked, and then tied with cotton twine (beaded) like a ladder. It's kind of large but the twigs should be good to climb on, so we'll see.

Have at it. I don't know if you can tell by the picture but I also have some wood beads that I colored with food coloring in it too. And they love preening the ends of the hemp.

Wow I really like the toys you made. The first one especially was inspring. I'm gonna steal your idea! heheheh The rest of course were great. I know toys are way cheap but I love to make things. No, am not good but I really do like to make them. I've made about fifteen toys or so and am looking on the net for more ideas and inspiration. Like your toy. I just love that quad swing idea. Just too cute and you made it up so well. (Lots of toys out there are fine but not inspiring nor alluring for purchase. Your toys are. Great job.)

Oh and about my toys one son said to me one day, "Mom you could sell those on Ebay." Nice, huh? I felt really complimented. Would be great to sell my better stuff. I don't mind keeping the more embrassing things heheh. Maybe I'll find bird lovers around here and see if they want to buy bird toys. Would be cool to make money just so I could buy more recyclable items and make toys. Once I get the picture thing figured out I'll take pics of my toys too. And blush! heheh.
