View Full Version : First Flying shot

I FINALY got a picture of Jadon flying, took me like a bazillion tries, not to mention our camera isnt very good. It's not that good of a picture but it looks ok. His wings look a bit butchered because they are growing back from having them clipped, he can fly just as well though.

That's an awesome flight photo! Jadon looks like a real flying pro in spite of those clipped flight feathers! :p

very nice. i can't wait till jay gets his flight feathers back. clipped wings are great for training, but i dont like denying them their natural abilities. i'll just have to be extra careful that they dont get away and hurt thats all and hope for the best. that and my gf thinks its umimaginably cruel that jay's wings are clipped. i had to explain to her that i didn't do it.. he came like that from petco. hahah. well she made me promise not to clip them ever again after they grow back, so ima keep my word. i was gonna let them grow back permanently anyway.

Good shot. Is your bird a clearflight pied? Because my bird patrick is and I thought yours looked like one.

I'm pretty sure he is just a normal green budgie. But I'm not good at that sort of stuff.
