We might possibly be hiring a new staff member in the coming weeks. Now, this is not set in stone and things could change, but for now it seems we might need another staff member in the coming weeks.
What's the position?
Super moderator.
Why is there an opening?
As I said, it's not set in stone. We might not need it after all. The reason we're thinking about hiring another super moderator is because our site is growing and we feel it's time to hire another staff member. At this stage in our growth, we really should have a few super mods. At this moment we don't. So that's why I'm looking for another super mod. The more coverage we have, the better.
How can I become eligible?
We probably won't have an application or anything like that. This is how you'll be considered: post and demonstrate your dedication to our website and budgies. If you can show Budgiekin and I that you are a dedicated member and you have knowledge in budgies then you'll be eligible.
What if I'm eligible but I don't want the position?
If we ask you to join the staff team and you don't want to, that's fine! We're not forcing anyone. Remember, this is not a paid position so it's completely voluntary.
How do I know if I'm eligible or if I'm chosen?
We'll contact you if we decide to hire another super mod. At this point we'll pick the best candidate out of the ones we have in mind. You'll be contacted again if you get the position.
