A question about our 4 budgies... we have 2 females and 2 males all in the same cage. We've had them since August & September '07. They get along well with each other - like brothers and sisters really as sometimes they bicker amongst each other but generally speaking are all really good friends.

Just wondering though, is there any potential problem with this gender mix? Ie. should we be watching for anything like both males trying to be dominant, etc.

Like I said, so far, so good, but we just want to make sure.

THANKS in advance for your comments/suggestions.

Not any that I see. I have 4 females and 4 males in the same cage as well. There's always the normal bicker but never anything bad.

We also have 2 females and 2 males in the same cage. Never a problem.

Judging from my experience - better keep an eye on the girls ;-)

That's a great constellation! It's always best to keep as many males as females together.
I keep 3.3 budgies together and I've never had any problems at all! :)
