View Full Version : Baby Tiels...
Well I got four more baby tiels today.
These three are in tip top shape!

But this little guy, is not doing so good. This little guy or girl age is just DAYS behind the other babies. Not a week or two younger than them. Just days younger than them. Actually of course I named this little one already! I named him or her. Tsuki, which means LUCK in Japanese. My mom didn’t realized Tsuki was struggling to survive, only getting enough food to be alive but not to grow. So when I got Tsuki today I fed him/her and pumped Tsuki full of pedialyte. Tsuki will not lay down at all. All he/she does is stand even sleeping. I think Tsuki was so stomped on my the others that he/she doesn’t want to miss a chance for food.

This picture is to just show you the difference in size compared to the others. Now remember Tsuki is just days behind others. I hope Tsuki makes it!

You breed cockatiels as well!WOW!Those cockatiels are so beuatiful alreday what type were the parents?Poor tuski I just purshased a 6 month old WhiteFaced Pied female I think I am just waiting for DNA results...I want albinos so I am going to breed her to a lutino split to whiteface..Do they breed teh same as budgies?Harder?Easier?

Well my mom has the pair. she had a male then I brought her a female. I have way to much here already. I have 2 cat, 2 turtles, 2 bettas, i lost count on the parakeets, 1 rabbit, 4 pigeons, and about 12 rats last time i counted... Plus the 4 new tiels. And three I already had. Yeah I have alot!!!:laughing2: oh by the way tiels are easy to breed if you get the right pair together..

Ohhhhhh, you're breaking our hearts with Tsuki!! I want her. She's so cute and adorable and cuddly. :crying2: Please, keep us posted on that little angel!!

hi i just got a 3month old teal about 2 wks ago. I had a budgie home when i gt Izie home charlie was very jealous. He's still is, won't come out of the cage. What do I do? I don't know anything about teals
Tiels are just over grown keets. Like us they have there own personalities. Almost all breeds of parrots ARE very jealous. But they are also very loyal. He might not ever stop being jealous. If he is finger trained spend a little extra time with him so he doesn't feel threatened by the new Tiel.

Beautiful birds, looking forward to hear more about the little guy. Hopefully Tsuki can catch up with the others.

:wave1: WOW! I've never seen baby birds like that up close. Very werid and cute at he same time. I cant wait till the day my budgies have little ones. Scary at the same time. I would not want anything bad to happen to any of them. Good luck on your babies. I too, would like to see what thay look like in a week or two.

They are doing great!. I got three more today from my abuela. But I am only baby sitting until she gets back from New York. They are almost grown and she should have weened them by now but you can tell they are spoiled and don't want to ween... :rolleyes:

Hey Cyn,
I am sad too because your photos are no longer on the posts and I didn't get to see your babies. I was afraid that I was the only one who couldn't view them but it appears that the person writing the post before me (Buddy) couldn't view the photos either.
They sound beautiful so I guess I'll have to take your word for it.
You're one busy person with all of those pets . . . :happy4:
