Help Please

I've done everything I'm supposed to , but can't get it to work. I saved the image to my computer, I went to my user CP and chose the second option...upload from my computer, and saved it. I have checked and rechecked the size of the image and it is correct for the number of posts I have.

In my user CP it shows that the image is indeed my current signature, but the image isn't showing up in the preview, or in my posts.

Does anyone have a clue as to what may be going wrong?

After you upload it you and see it in the little area you have to click insert signature. In the text you'll see something be pasted like [SIGPIC] -that's your siggie. Until you insert it, it won't show. Let me know if you have any problems.

I tried the sigpic tag and it is much smaller than what I am allowed according to the rules. I used the img tag in the body of the signature using an image host. Hope I did that right. Hope you get that working Pippin's Mom! :)

But now like you said Mindy the image is smaller than I'm allowed so I will try to figure out what you did, but I'm very challanged when it comes to computer stuff.

Place your image on an image host like photobucket. Do you have an image host? Photobucket already has the code to insert into your signature. Place this in your signature. The syntax without the spaces would be:

[ IMG]URL to photo[ /IMG]

Thanks! Glad you got it working. BTW- the size limits only shows that it's smaller then what you're allowed because I saved it as .gif to compress it in a way. the pixels are exactly your size limit
