Im so excited!!!

[Alfie]

Alfie has finally learnt to say his name after many patient months of training. It was last week when my mum was recording him singing that he said 'Alfie' twice! I have it on recording and will try and get it from my phone onto me computer so i can show all of you! He now cannot stop saying it!

For the last two days i have been trying to teach him to say 'hello' and 10 minutes ago he said it while perching on my leg and playing with my fingers (he loves that!).

I had my doubts about budgies being able to talk but i proved myself wrong. I am so excited and am looking forward to the next few months!

Finally, anyone desperatly trying to teach their budgie to talk should not give up because it will finally pay off as i have found out.

That is so awesome!! Congratulations on teaching your sweety pie to talk! It must be so cute to hear. I'd love to be able to listen to a recording so if you can get it up and running, definitely share it!! :p
