Hi

I have two budgies and just by reading on this website, I realized that one of them is a yellow Lutino.
My other is a regular yellow with black stripe and emeral green back. I believe it is a male by the blue beek.
Now what I don't know since I found out about the Lutino is what it is. I think it is a female because of the beek color, but do Lutino's have the same beek color for females as regular budgies.

Lutinos can be much harder to sex I must say! The reason is because the cere of a lutino budgie can vary quite a bit, compared with the non-lutino budgies..... Do you have any pictures you could post? ;)

A female lutino will have the same colour cere as a female of any other mutation. :) It's only the males that will be different, in that they keep their baby pink cere their whole lives.
