View Full Version : Tinker Bell and my new budgie, Macario

I got my new boy budgie today and he really stood out to me. Most of the budgies in there were the same colors as Tink and there were a few blue and white ones but were girls. Macario was the only one with his coloring and he stood out to me. He also has a cute white spot on his head so he just looked like the runt of the group. I named him Macario because I wanted to name him after my manager who gave me the gift card to get him. Her name in Greek is Macario and it means "blessed" and happy" so I named him that. Mac for short but Kari was surprised and actually got teary eyed when I told her that. I was worried about how Tinker Bell would react but when I took him out of the box and he saw her, he couldn't wait to get in the cage with her. As soon as I put him on the perch, he snuggled up to her and she's actually getting along with him great. They're already pruning eachother and nuzzling so they seem like they'll be ok. What a sweetie Macario is! He's absolutely stunning! Great pictures, thanks for sharing! :p I love the white patch on the back of your sweetie's head!

He has the same white patch as my Chester. They're so cute together.

They look as though they are getting on really well. Macario looks gorgeous, and so tiny! I love his yellow face :) so cute!

Great photos! Macario is a doll! Tinker Bell is so much bigger is Tinker Bell from an Exhibition line of birds or is Macario just that much smaller than the average Pet budgie?

Oh, he's adorable! And how wonderful that they got along so well, so quickly. I'm glad you named him after your boss. That was cool!;)
