New Automatic Resizing Feature

I finally found something that automatically resizes large pictures in your posts. Any pictures that are wider than 500px are resized automatically. There might be some bugs with this, but I've tested it out and it seems to work. :) Any questions? Feel free to ask.

Does this mean that if I try to include a 2 meg image that the file size will be reduced to the 500K max as well?

It's not 500K, it's 500 pixels, as in length. But, theoretically, if you have a really large image, it should resize it. Feel free to test that out in the Test Forum. I'd be interested to see if it would work.

That's what I was thinking when I installed it. I'll just keep the usergroup anyway in case this feature every breaks, somehow...

hi dave, im assuming you are using javascripts to resize the image if you believe there are possible bugs. a good method actually is to use css and just set the img tag to be of specific width and height. im sure that this site already uses css so it should be very easy to do.
