I just went on eBay and noticed LOTS of books and information on budgies/parakeets. Just enter PARAKEETS in the search box and you'll find quite an assortment at good prices.

A lot of good, basic information can be obtained from these items........ Plus, of course, all the great photos.

Also try typing in the word "budgerigar". Just watch out you could get caught up in buying all kinds of budgie things.

I love eBay as well :) But I don't think I should be getting any more books, I honestly have about 7 good budgie books!! :p
