That is a great site. I have looked at it acouple of times trying to decide what mutation my birds are. Very helpful. My husband looked at it too and thought it was pretty cool. Him not being much into budgies, but bigger birds he loves.

Wow, that was really interesting, even for someone like me who's never bred budgies :). I think my bird is either a cobalt or a sky blue, although he's kind of in between those.

he is probably a sky blue with single factor mauve or dark...

Mauve isn't a factor, it's a color, if I understand it correctly. Sky blue is blue plus no dark factors. Cobalt is blue plus one dark factor. Mauve is blue plus 2 dark factors.

Then you can also add violet factors, which also affect the color. Very confusing! :D
