pegasus does not lok sick and does not act sick. but everyonce in awhile he looks like he is going to reguratate. he bobs his had and opens his mouth. he has not pueked i didnt know if he was just cleaning his throat stretching or what .?:S

Hi Missy, I made a post about that one as well. I noticed Tiki doing the same thing. From the replies I got it has been suggested that budgies do this to clear the husk or millet from their throats or to dislodge a feather. Pretty comical to watch isn't it!

Hi Missy. I shared in an earlier post what I like to call that behaviour. Whenever my budgies do that, I call it "whorking" (pronounced "horking"). For some reason, that word seems to describe that behaviour perfectly. It's like they are stretching their neck and tongue muscles and is pretty funny to watch. It is even funnier when you can get a picture of your budgie doing that while their beak is open!
