My Guess ( & That's all it really is, is a guess)

Is a Pied, Sky blue, Opaline ( it's sky blue but on the sides of it's neck it's got a different shade of blue like a blueish purple)all his tail feathers are white except the shortest ones the tips are a aqua blue color - that you can see best from the top of the feathers, you really can't tell it from the under side

My guess is the same as yours its definitaly pied, opaline and th colour looks sky blue to me...so ..yeah!

Alyse, he is a a sky blue recessive pied... and he is actually a SHE. :)

Dominant pieds usually have a band of clear color across the belly, whereas recessive pieds have their body color concentrated towards the bottom of the belly and the rump.

I thought my budgie was a she too when I bought it, but now I think I see a hint of blue on the cere so I'm not sure what will happen! :S

Alyse, it's normal for female budgies to have blue on their cere, it's a powder blue as opposed to the deep blue of a male cere.
