Hello everyone, my name is jen and i am new here to talkbudgies.:budgie: My pets are: Abby a 2 year old Pug/Boston cross, and my 2 month old budgie, Sammie. I wanted to get a buddy for Sammie but i don't know if Sammie is a boy or girl! And I'm not sure what color to get. I saw a really pretty grey one at the same place I got Sammie from but I don't know yet. any ideas on Sammie's sex? I know he/she is only 2 months old.....

thank you. for some reason Sammie's nose is looking more and more blue to me!

Welcome! Your little Sammie is beautiful. I have never seen a yellow budgie before.

neither have i, but the color mutation is called "Dark-Eyed Clear". When I saw him i knew s/he was for me. They also had a Grey-Factor budgie that I want to go back and get as a buddy for Sammie.

Dark-Eyed Clears are very beautiful, lol! I don't know much about Budgie genetics yet. What does the Grey-Factor look like?

yea he reminds me of my canary romeo that i had long time ago, looks just like him.

Such a cute bird! I have a yellow girl. She has one little green patch in between her wings. I call her Nana because she reminds me of kinda unripe banana.:)
