So this season ,I decided on 2 pairs only, the first pair was Romeo and Juliet and they have 5 eggs now and their eggs are due in 5 days, I have just set my new pair 1 hour ago and im amazed at how much they have taken to each other :D thay are preening and kissing and have only been together for an hour, they even both looked inside the nest box 3 timess! They are both in tip-top breeding condition and have been allowed to see each other from different cages for a week and even kissed through the bars twice when i got them closer! They were delighted to finally meet and Matt was going after her from the first minute and she really likes him too, And by the way Matt is Romeo's brother, from the same clutch, they are both nearly identical, both are cinnamon violet cocks but If u look closely u can see a difference in their cheek marking and Matt is more brighter ,
I picked him because i didnt know which to pick and i thought it was nice to see what are both going to produce :D
So Daddy is a cinnamon violet cock 13 months old and the Mommy is a dominant pied Hen just a year old, they look so cute! I took some pics of them preening, ill post them very soon!Uptil now things are looking bright!
