I was wondering what colour my baby Alexia might be, these are her parent a yellow recessive pied, and a diluted blue.

Hi Jessie,
If Alexia is only 3 days old I really don't think it will be possible to tell what colour he/she is until he/she has feathers.
It will depend on whether dad is carrying the recessive gene, whether mum is carrying the blue gene. And what other hidden genes there may be.

Your sky white cock is a recessive color. This means you need 2 sky whites to get 100% sky whites. OR you need 1 sky white prd with a split sky white to produce some sky whites. Or 2 split sky whites that out of 100 chicks might produce a few sky white baby.
Your Golden face recessive sky pied - is just that another recessive mutation. The breeding info above is the same for this mutation. (Now you can tell this bird is a golden face because the yellow has bled into the blue on the belly to give you a “turquoise” color. (if you put yellow into blue you get green)
Assuming that these adult birds are not spit for anything other than what they are showing, you will get golden face sky chicks that will be split for recessive pied as well as sky white. If you get more than this you know your birds are split for other mutations.

is the tail white or grey on the father? it looks grey from the pic but i'm not sure if that's just my eyes... if it's grey then you have a greywing not a dilute.. and it's still a recessive factor as Kerry said...

Ohhh so he must be a full-body greywing then right? I'm just getting used to genetics so I'm not as good right now. I thought Tami was a goldanface because her face was so much brighter thanks guys!Thats lots of help
