Hello again,

His vent is clean.... its got like fluffy feathers around it (whitish) and today i found that his droppings were stuck to it - twice, and i removed them. but most of the droppings have been falling down without being stuck to him. i suppose it was just position?

its good to know that hes just being quite becasue he is settling in - thats a huge relief! i was also wandering why he stays down so low on the perch? he's sitting up high, but he's sitting low/laying but still standing on his feet/horizontally. his head is as low as the perch almost.

Your budgie's posture on the perches sounds normal. I sometimes call my budgies' posture the vulture pose because they look all hunched over and wide-eyed. Budgies will often do that when they are a bit nervous...take on interesting perching positions. ;)
