RIP Tom

Hello all. Some of you may know the story of what happened to Tom. One day I was out and when I got back he was gone. Cage was still closed and other budgie still in there but no Tom. I do not know what happened to him. It has been just over 8 weeks since I have last seen him. I have given up all hope that he has survived through terrible weather, dangerous hazards and the cat down the road. He was my first budgie, and the reason I joined the Forum. I do not grieve for him anymore but I just wanted to take the time to post a thread for him. I am greatful that I had you guys on TB and Snowpea to help me with his loss. :crying:

I'm not going to RIP Tom Budgie Tom, I'm going to pray that he fell into some ones backyard and hes in their house warm and toasty. Of course No one could give him as much love as you did, but I'm going to pray that hes alive and well. But I'm sad that he can't be with his most loving, loyal pet, you!:)

I'll hope the same for the poor little one.
I'm sorry you lost him, though.. I've only seen Snowpea (I think)
but I'm sure he was a beautiful, well-loved little guy!

Yeh, he was. He was very quiet and sweet. He looks a bit like Snowpea actually.

I am hopeful that he is okay. I can't imagine the feelings you must have; not knowing how he is doing. My fingers are crossed.

I'm sorry about the disappearance of Tom. That is strange - that he is gone but your other Budgie was still in the cage. What a mystery! :S

Well . . . I'm going to join in with the rest of the folks who are hoping for the best, and pray that Tom will soon return home. My heart goes out to you. It is sad that Tom was your first Budgie and you had him when you joined Talk Budgies. Hang in there though. Miracles DO happen! :)
