Should I be conserned

I think that my new budgie might have a cold. She's been sneezing a lot and when i held her her feet were warm. Should I be concerned or is this something minor? Should I take her to the vet or wait a couple days? [ She just started today]

How frequently is your sweetie sneezing? Some sneezing is normal as it clears out their nares (nostrils). Is the humidity low where your budgie is kept? (like under 45%).

Do you hear any wheezing? Is there any sign of laboured breathing? How are the droppings?

I wouldn't be concerned too much about the warm feet since generally budgie feet have good circulation.

If you don't notice any of the other signs I mentioned, then your sweety is probably fine. Keep an eye on her for a couple of days and if she continues sneezing as frequently, then you could consider bringing her to an avian vet.

No i havn't noticed any of the other things, the sneezes arn't frequent but, they are occuring in sort of chains.

make sure your budgie is out of drafts and there is no seed husk around as times budgies can inhale them which can produce sneezing also make sure their seed is of a good quality as sometimes mould spores can be in their seed and this can lead to respiritory problems.

If the problem persist take your bird to a Avian Vet to be rule out any major illness as budgies are notorious for hiding illness
