More Kiki pictures

Here are some new pictures of my little budgie Kiki. I've had her for a week and a few days now, and she is still skittish. She bleeps on occassion. When she's in her cage, she seems fine with my hands, and fingers. She even lets me pet her. But when she is out of her cage, she doesn't want anything to do with them. How long before she communicates with me and starts bopping her head? I hope soon.

Im sorry to tell you but I think kiki is a little male?:S To much purple on the cere?

is he(she) now? I was told that if that it's blue above their beak, that it was a boy, but any other color that it is a female? I dunno. Any help would be appreciated

Kiki's cere colouring looks very much like my budgie's, and I was advised on the forum that he was a boy too! :)

S/he's a lovely bird! I say boy as well because, like Joey said theres to much purple on the cere

I imagin that very soon you'll see improvements in his behaviour. His is still very younge. I was talking to another budgie owner - her bird is younge too, and all the cuddly stuff started happening a few weeks after she got him. one moment she was complaining about his aggressive beaviour & the next moment he was nesting in her hair & rolling a pom-pom ball around. I'm sure it will all work out soon.
Maybe more training inside the cage until he's tamer?

The cere in males can be purple if they are a certain mutation like your pied budgie.Pieds,lutino,albino.....etc.Your budgie is a male:)

I do believe that is a recessive pied tho from her markings

The one on the left is definately a Ressesive Colbat Male on the left...if thats what you wanted to know...:)
