my bird missy is bleeding and i dont know wat caused it nor do i know how to stop it its the tip of the wing and its still attached wat do i do to help her

Is it just one feather that is bleeding? Can you see a blood supply in the shaft of it?

Do you have corn starch or styptic powder or flour nearby? You need to place the tip of the feather in the powder to stop the bleeding. Don't be afraid of using too much; you need quite a bit to plug the bleeding area. The powder will act like a clot.

If the bleeding continues, you will need to pull out the feather....I recommend using pliers and grasping the feather very firmly while you support the wing with the other hand. Then you have to pull in a quick and straight direction to pull the feather out.

ill just wait overnight and see if she gets it out herself if its not out in the morning then ill pull it out.

Sometimes they could get it chaugt in bettween the bars and than they fly and the feather breaks...:(
