Just by looking at the pictures, are they ready? I have them in the breeding cage with the nest box, mineral/calcium block, cuddle bone, and well balanced diet. What else do I need to add or do? They are both atleast 2 years old.

I have a light that I keep on in here about 14 hours a day and turn it off only when I go to bed and turn it back on as soon as get up. So they have plenty of light. :)
Hnm the male is definatly in breeding condition but im not sure about the female because my female's cere was just like your budgies and it went completely white!and now she goes into the nest box everytime I go near the cage

Her cere is totally brown and is starting to crust a little, but anyways, here is the setup I have, is this setup ok?, this is the best I could do.

Thats a great setup!BETTER THAN MINE!:( Perfect cage setup you have I guess you just have to wait and be paitaint...maybe you could get a few more budgies to influence the pair.Budgies are colony breeders and therefore it is helpful to have other budgies around I only have a lonely male that chirps and I guess he is helping but I am also going to get him a mate he is close by the pair in a seperate cage.

Bad news, Passion was going out of breeding season :( , but Casper is going back into breeding season :party2: So I have put Passion in the cage with Jasper and put Casper in the breeding cage with Loverboy. I hope something will happen between these 2, Casper is not as aggressive towards Loverboy as she was before, so keep your fingers crossed.
