45 degrees f (7.2 c) -50 f (10 c) this is the optimum temp for good breeding and chick rearing
That is too cold! Budgies breed mainly in spring and autumn but also summer. It's often too cold in the winter and the chicks freeze.

we keep our Air Conditioner set on about 76 degrees F, but when I am out of the room, I close the door to keep the cats out, and sometimes it gets colder in here, maybe down to about 68-70 degrees F, is that a good temp to breed? or should it be colder or warmer?
