Hello,Could anyone advise where to buy a good quality cage, all the ones in the pet shop are either white, and budgies nibble the painted bars or chrome but go rusty very quickly,I would like to pay extra for something that lasts,Stainless steel would be ideal, but do they make them anywhere. KEN.:budgie: :S

Have you tried ebay? They have some pretty nice cages on there and at a very good price too. ;)

Stainless steel cages are super but extremely expensive. Buy powder coated or wrought iron for durability. I've bought several on eBay. Check your local classifieds for good, used cages, too.

Hi There
just new to the site but thought i'd answer your 'cage question'
we purchased (expensive but worth it) a Vision Cage 2 years ago - we (and the budgies) love it - and it washes terrific when you put it in the shower - never rusts and we've never seen the birds eat the metal

Yeh I think that the best option would be Ebay! They sell some pretty cool cages at reasonable prices.

I went to the Feather Farm...they have good cages, and the one I bought was about $100 with free shipping...and VERY roomy.
