Hi all,my name is Scott and live in England.
I have just started an aviery and at present have 16 budgies (including 5 chicks) and 4 cockatiels.
Although i am new to this,i did have 2 budgies growing up as a child but sadly they died some years ago.
All my birds give me great pleasure and all seem to be doing fine.
I started off just having Bertie(green/yellow male) and Norman (blue/white male) but found myself wanting more so now have as above mentioned.

I really liked the 'small' photo - your aviary looks great - makes us envious.

I am newish, and I have a white budgie called Jazzy.
This site is very helpful. My mother is a member too Juliet. She has 2 budgies and her love of budgies rubbed off on me, I love my Jazzy to bits!

Sorry for not replying sooner (kinda poorly).

My aviery is part of a shed outside that i made myself and extended it. It took quite a while to build and get to the way i wanted it (at the time LOL) but feel i need to make changes already. As i was new to an aviery,i only planned for 2 nest boxes (for just in cases :) ) only thing now is....I NEED MORE BOXES due to more pairing up than expected :rolleyes:

I made all the cages myself but they never want to use them,they tend to spend all their time outside :S

O well,they are worth all my time and money so i'm happy :)
