I make several styles of playstands and perches for all size parrots. Most are constructed of PVC with wrapped or birdie bagel (heavy cardboard tubes) perches or from wooden dowels with wooden serving trays as bases. The trays are first lined with washable placemats for ease of cleanup. The tiger and panda perches were made from discarded children's toys. The bases are plywood covered with linoleum squares. I incorporate many infant and toddler toys into my designs. Garage sales and thrift stores are great sources for 10 cent items!
