I will Remember You

Sunday was a sad day in centeral Florida. Houdini decided that it was the day to say goodbye. I don't think that it has really set in yet that he is gone. I still think that he is going to start chirping again and shake my hand one more time.

I feel awful, like I should have noticed something before it was too late!! I will NEVER forget him, he really helped me through some stuff in the past year and a half.

I am SO sorry about the death of Houdini. I remember your little guy very well and he has always stuck in my mind and heart.

Remember the photo you took - The one that was used for the "Caption Contest in July of 2006?" I specifically remember the photo because it was my VERY FIRST time to enter a contest of any kind on Talk Budgies. My caption for that contest was: "Houdini's Plan Sets Jailbirds Free."

Thanks Melissa for letting us know about your loss. There have been a lot of Budgies die over the past couple of weeks and many are struggling with the death of their sweeties. (I am one of them.) Please know that you aren't alone in your pain. When one loses a Budgie in this community, we ALL hurt and grieve.
