Alrighty, so my moms lovebirds layed five eggs. The first one hatched yesterday. He's so very cute :) Anyways i'm just wondering if any of you know approxmiatly how long between each egg hatches? I don't think it would be too different from budgies, how long for budgie eggs? :D:D I'm rather excited. I will be adopting a lovebird :)

Well for budgie eggs it's 18 days. My friend bred lovebirds once and i'm pretty sure it was a little longer for lovie eggs to hatch.

Hi. I just looked in The Lovebird Handbook by Vera Appleyard and she says the egg should hatch in 23 days and take up to 24 hours for the baby to fully emerge. Hope this helps.

Lol Thanks guys. I know how long until the eggs hatch though. We already have one baby. What i'm asking is how long does it take for each bird to hatch. The eggs are layed every two days, then 20 or so days later the babies hatch. Were not entirely sure on how far apart each egg should hatch. :)

Every two days, in the order they were laid. :)

Ahh awesome. I read somewhere that the babies should hatch around the same time. But whatever, the babies have been hatching every two days lol. :) Thank-you Bea!!
