Introducing Pixie and Pearl!

After seeing my parakeet my little brother got a little envious and decided to go on-the-spur-of-the-moment to buy himself a parakeet. Sure enough he did - a female budgie named Pixie. I don't mind too much, i have noticed that it's really slowed down training though, i think there might even be some reverse training going on! Even though we keep them in seperate cages my brother and I have a close relationship and spend a lot of time together, so naturally our birds are often together in the same room. My bro seems very fond of his budgie, but I don't think he is willing to follow through with all the time and effort budgies adore so much. Needless to say, I've taken Pixie-bird under my wing and am currently trying to train both her and Tito.

As if things could get even better! I also managed to inherit a young albino budgie - named Pearl. :) I'm not sure if Pearl is male or female, but that's ok - I don't think any of my birds know if I am male or female. :p This is day 1 with Pearl, Day 5 for Pixie, and Day 8 for Tito.

I am very glad to say that I love having not one, but three birds! Earlier I was playing some Linkin Park and all three of them where chirping along to it. Also! Tito is still tame enough that 8/10 times he'll climb onto my hand then hop to my shoulder and just puff up and relax - it's had a real positive influence on Pixie and Pearl.
