Had a little one too pass...Wookie

Hey Everyone,
Yesterday, Saturday, I had one of my babies to pass on.

They have been weaned for over week, and were doing very well in their cage. I have no idea, on what went wrong :( .

I went to go check on them today, I uncovered their cage to find Wookie not moving and VERY unresponsive. I tried giving a little bit of warm fluids, got it warm, but I guess it just wasn't meant to be :crying2: .

I can't believe the little one passed on. It was so young,...and sweet.

I'm watching my other one (ET) like a hawk! Do you think ET will be ok without the other??? Even though they were young, they have always been together. Should I think about getting him another friend?? Not right away of course..

They were both Albino's..... I really hope nothing else goes wrong. This is so very upsetting. These are my babies, I have had them since the were pink, and just getting down in.

I'll post some pictures of ET later on today in the pm. I'd like to see what you all think of it.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. It just isn't fair when this happens to one so young. :( What the little one eating? Passing droppings?

It would be completely up to you if you get your budgie a friend. I think it would depend on how much time you have for your current one. If it isn't all that much (like only evenings for example), then it might be a good idea to get a companion so he or she isn't alone all day long.
