Need help with names

I'm having a hard time coming up with names for the new pair of budgies That i got

the only name I've came up with was for the Grey one and it is Smokey - NOT sure if I'm naming him that or not though

So here is their pics once again - any name suggestions would be greatly appreciated

lol i've been getting that alot, I fell in love with him at the Bird Fair

it's not the dark grey that we've talked about getting BUT it's a start :D

lol i told my b/ f that is what my next 2 males would be named - I didn't know if bandit went well for a female or not lol

but i was also thinking Shadow for the grey one

i'm not good when it comes to names lol i had a dog once named Dog and a cat named CAT LOL

There like twins!!his names ozzie and i also have a female a little bit like your other and her name is Crumble(whole name Violet Crumble Dancer)

It just shows names pop out everyware i mean ozzie for a grey bird!!
Im not recommending any names because no offense but we dont know these budgies or there personalitlys and only you do and this is what i want to say:A true name comes from the heart from one loving soul to the next

This has about no relation to their colors, but how about Lila for the female and Lew for the male? They sound cute together =)

Gaia for the female since she seems to have the same colours as the Earth.

The male needs a regal/mystical name. Something along the lines of Greek Mythology. He looks like he has a strong disposition so maybe Zeus. Perhaps keeping it simple with Storm would work.

This may sound silly but you could always ask their names before you go to bed. I've done it with other non-human family members and I always come up with a suitable name in the morning. Just remember to write it down as soon as you think of it or, if you're like me, you'll forget it and want to kick yourself in the bottom.

Thank you all for the suggestions, I'm still not sure what their personality's are like, They don't want to come out of the cage, they'd rather just sit on the perch, But the grey one will tilt his head up and side ways to watch what we're doing


Lillianna - I do that alot but not for pet names, But I heard it some where on t.v once ( i belive it was from Sylvia Brown when i was watching the Montel Show) if you lay down and ask your Guardian angels to show you, your lifes path( or anything else you want to know really), you'll dream about it, and she also said it's best to ask to " please let me remember it when I wake up" I've done it a few times BUT I still can't remember nothing when I wake UP lol

Me and my b/f was sitting here friday night looking through the Pet Classified ad's and talking, and he was in the middle of one of his stories, and a name popped in my head for the female BUT ME NOT WANTING TO BE RUDE waited til' he was done talking and by then I FORGOT what I was going to say ( i knew better to begin with I've got a huge memory problem I'll forget what I'm saying and half the time TALKING ABOUT in mid sentence) and the name never popped back in my head :( But I'm kicking him in the butt for it NOT MYSELF, it's all his fault ( its always the mans fault LOL) but in his case he needs to stop telling me stories he's already told me a million and one times lol


But so far for the Grey one I've came up with Smokey and Shadow

My son gave me a suggestion Sat. for the female of Sunshine ( he said because her face is yellow like the sun - he's 7 :D)

and my daughter wanted to name her Tiel ( white face female so it's all grey) Midnight - But I told her no because she's got a dog named midnight LOL

man I hope my kids don't get my lack of imagination lol

I love your grey bird. he is beautiful. I would name the female Ocean, she is like an ocean blue. I would name the male dusky or dusty.

aparently mine is Dilute opaline grey but yours and mine might not be same it just might be way pict shows up.I know i said earlier that you should name him and her but i couldnt help resist:Mystery for male,Star Stream(star for short)for female.

Thanks " sir poop allot" made me laugh LOL i was getting ready to clean my other budgies cage yesterday ( Sky, tweety, belle, and Casper) and I told em I should of named em all Poop Allot - lol

you can defiantly tell where they sleep at night!!!

so far for the Grey one I've got Smokey, Shadow and Storm
which I think all 3 Fit his coloring - But not sure how their personalities are yet, Since it's just the 2 of them in my sons room and they don't really do nothing but sit on a perch and eat/ drink

Maybe if you name the female sunshine you can name the male moonshine...you might not want to, considering moonshine is alcohalic...:p but yeah lol.

lol my Daughter is named after a Alcohoalic drink LOL well I didn't name her AFTER the drink itself I named her after my best Friend who died when i was 4 months pregnant with her - but that is normally how people remember her name by the whisky lol

LOL actually when I get my aviary (which is now in a few weeks instead of next summer yay!) I am definately naming one of the birds Midori, which is a melon-flavoured liquor...:p

I'm still contemplating on names - I think i might just wait til thier quaratine is over and i'm able to introduce them to the other budiges, and see how thier personalities are

and then name them, but I gotta make sure it's somthing my kids can pronounce lol

I'm sure we'll think of somthing - none of my birds have stayed namless for too long lol
