Waxed string ?!

Was planing on making some toys out of beads ect. but wasnt sure if waxed string is ok for little beaks, because i wouldnt want to harm my babies. :budgie:

Ofcourse it depends on the wax used but if I had to guess I would have to say no. Most likely it is not safe wax (ie. vegetable wax..etc).
