yesterday at 7 oclock hector who had been ill for some time fell off his pearch and died we all loved him very much and will miss him thank you for all the advise on his illness (sleepy)

The loss of a loved pet is hard to accept. I'm sorry to hear of your loss. These little critters are like our children and we hate to see anything bad happen to them.

Many years ago, I had a spectacular male budgie fall off his perch while I was watching him. I suspect he had a heart attack. I was talking to my girlfriend as this was happening and it was unreal. I put his cage down to answer her call and then, boom, he keeled over dead. I had only had him a couple of months and had paid a lot of money for him and had not even been able to breed him one time. A sad loss on many levels.
