My budgie's Disney Land!

Hi that is me again with the pictures of the play gym I have been working on.
That is the previous thread :

I added some more things to it.
My husband's friend came over for coffee, saw what I've made and called it "Disney Land" for Izzy & Kandy :)
It is so much fun building, I think I am addicted to it now. :p
Most likely I will not be buying toys in the pet store anymore. :)

Izzy and Kandy are using it, Kandy likes it better. She is into chewing and climbing. :)

I used that same base for my play stand! I love yours though! I might need to work on something like that for my birds later this fall when I have time

That looks fantastic. I'm sure Izzy will love it once he gets confident about it. I don't know about the metal chain, maybe somebody will advise you about that.

I personally think a rope would look better an use the chain for a dangely decoration or something like that.:) But that is amazing what you have done!

I wish I could play there myself, but it is too small :D
Izzy is still discovering, all is new for him, but he is going along very well.
We are proud of Izzy.
Can't wait to get a second birdie. Probably we will get a friend for Izzy for Christmas.
It will be more fun for him and us. ;)

Well, I have worked pretty hard on this Disney Land.
It is rewarding to see my birdies play on it!
Kandy is really into climbing and chewing things, she likes the beads and rope.

Here is the picture of the final version of the play gym.
I added a net and thread made ladder.
They will try it all tomorrow.
It is possible to re-arrange and re-adjust everything. I will see what is better for their convenience.

I really love my creation, too bad it is small and I can't join my budgies.

Thank you all! I am glad you like what I've done! I hope it will inspire you too!
My budgies like it more and more with the time the discover their Disney Land, especially Kandy, she is an acrobat.
Also the nets work so great (they are so easy to make), they climb easily on them and exercise as well.
I will post some more pictures after I finish one more ladder.

Glad you like it!
I certainly can tell you how I made it :), what exactly are you interested in?
The perches were made with the saw, drill, hammer, nails and some places I used glue.
I wanted to have a plan/pre-design but I built it without any plan just using the materials I had and I could get at a hardwear store.

The smaller perches were the wooden sticks I got at a dollar store.

I don't think I will be able to duplicate that :o to sell it.
It took me a couple of days to make it, and I am still adding things to it and changing as the birds help me to modify that.
