I've explained how to put the cages together (or at least my method) in the cage set up area that you asked about it in as well. Were you thinking of getting an aviary for just your two budgies or are you planning on introducing more to the flock?

If you're only planning on having two budgies until you get an aviary then the cage you have now is the perfect size for them. If your cage is the same size as my bottom cage, which I'm almost positive it is, then they will have no problem moving around freely without feeling cramped or uncomfortible.
When do you plan on getting an aviary?
