As most of u know i have 3 budgies but there ages are unknown what is the best way to tell age roughly mainly if its an adult or still a young bird
It's really easy to figuire out whether or not your budgie is young. A young budgie will have head bars right down to their cere (nose) and will have completely black eyes (no white iris ring), their cere will also not be either blue or tan but rather pink.

Adult Blinkie
The exception to the rule is recessive pied males which annoyingly keep their baby markings and ceres all their lives:

(see how the cere isn't blue and the eyes are still dark?)
I forgot to add, once they've had their first moult at about 5-6 months old there's really no sure way to tell the age of an adult budgie.
