A week ago, before I found this website, I was at the pool. While there, a budgie flew over the fence and landed near the pool. After watching it for 15 minutes, I remembered that I had an extra cage at my house, so I called my mom to bring it. The budgie was a female, and, for some reason, very fluffed up and pudgy. We put her in the cage and brought her home. I gave her fresh food and water, and went to bed, because it was late. Early the next morning, my father woke me up to tell me the budgie had died during the night. He said it was shaking badly, so I think, along with it being a female and pudgy, that it might have been egg binding. Is that so?.
I buried the budgie the next day. I feel so bad for the budgie, and whoever the budgies owner was. Even though she was not my budgie I think she does deserve to be mentioned here. And if anyone's budgie has disapeared in the last month or 2 in the vicinity of Riverside, PA., the budgie might have been yours and I am so sorry that I could not find you in time. She looked a lot like Diego (see my avatar) except with a pink cere because she was female.
