Just curious what time do your budgies go to bed? I have noticed more often then not, Tiki needs some alone time beginning around 8:30pm. He faces away from us and gets into this do not disturb zone. I have tried to stroke him but a nice little nip from Tiki tells me not now!! So I place a towel over his home so that he can get some ZZZZZZZZZ's. Do your budgies have any routines?

around 8:30 for me anyway i put my new baby girl to sleep a little earlier cause she was prolly so stressed in a new home

Blinkie goes to bed anytime from 10pm - 11pm. About 9pm he goes into snuggley mode and sits on my shoulder napping. :)

lol. Thats funny, Bea! "Snuggly Mode" sounds cute. by the way, how many budgies do you have? I know its 26+, but I dont know the exact number.....telll me!

My budgies get covered over and their light turned off at about 10pm. We call their bedtime beak in wing and on one foot time!

8:30 for the girl and for thorny but farva stays up with me till about 11 when futurama comes on :D

My birds go to sleep at around 8:30 as well. Seems to be a popular time. :P

Wow that's a cool image Bea. You have some neat names there too. (Seems like we both chose Budgie as the name of one of our budgies!) Based on the pictures, I think I have to say Pudding is my favorite. :D

wow. thats alot of Budgies, Bea! My personal favorites are Akala and Bob. Hey, Billy and Lilly, Bea has a budgie named Lilly! So cute.

i put mine to bed around 9 pm and 10 pm and i also heard that they should have around 10 - 12 hours of uninterrupted sleep but i dont know if it is true or not though xx

Ha ha you have got a Lilly although I spell it with 1 L, and you've got a Bobbi but I spelt it with a Y! (Bobby was my old, rescued, talking, budgie!)

It is recommended that they get that length of sleep although unless they're showing behavioral or hormonal problems most people get away with their budgies having less sleep. :)
