Seattle Rain

Well it's been about three weeks since I lost three of my beloved babies. I'm doing a lot better, but I've decided that it's time to start rebuilding my comparatively small flock. I didn't want to just go to a shop this time, I wanted someone special. I want someone hand-fed, and well taken care of. I've been searching online for breeders throughout Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and even Georgia. Most breeders in Mississippi and Georgia were too far away. Actually, they all were. Florida wasn't much better. I live on the panhandle and most breeders were in the more southernparts. There were a few within driving distance, on the panhandle and in Alabama. One in particular happened to own a shop close to my mother-in-law's house. I emailed her to ask about what she had in stock and she mentioned one in particular that stuck out: a five-month-old, hand-raised female. I went out today to take a look at her and ended up bringing her home with me. She's very tame, didn't really bite, and pretty quiet. She isn't trained to perch or anything yet, but she will let me pet her without flying around her cage or objecting in anyway. I feel bonded to her already, and I think this one's going to train very well. Welcome Monica!
