Do have a gym for your budgies? Do they use it?

We used to have a gym for our budgies. It had a ladder, a swing, and several perches and feeding cups at different heights. Only one of them liked it. We never really used it too much.

I have a tiny little playgym but all Kiki does is perch on it. She is still not completely comfortable out of her cage.

My Dad and I have just made one. It's HUGE!:jumping:
And it only cost £7 to make!:eek:

They've never used it as I only just made it!
When they've got their wings clipped they're going to go on it! I hope they like it!:D

It's big enough for Billy, Lily and all the babies she's going to have, to play on it all at once!:eek:

Well, a lot smaller!! It took him a while to be comfortable on it but once he learnt it wasn't dangerous he was on it almost whenever he was out of his cage.

I have a small one. Phobos and Deimos are still getting used to coming out of their cage, so they just kind of explore the thing a little bit, but don't really use it too much. Except that Phobos stands on the the top and tries to fly back into the cage. His wings are clipped so he doesn't quite make it.

Gus has a nice big gym, He loves it, it's his fav place and it's all native timber (Bottlebrush) he loves shredding bark and chewing it. it has several hanging toys and plenty of floor space for him to munch on shell grit and run amuck with his toys.

You can resize the photos in just about any photo editing software like Microsoft Photo Editor, Adobe Photoshop etc. Check the help section in the software to find out how to do it for that particular program. I think someone in this forum also posted a link to a site that you could use to easily resize the photos, but I can't remember what it was. Anyone? :p

Tiki has a nice gym but only perches on it and usually only if I set him on a perch. I think he feels timid around it. He is just getting use to playing outside of his cage so I hope in time he will make good use of his play gym!

You know, I have honestly been thinking of making them for some cash on the side. It would be nice if i could get on board with some pet stores....lol. Besides, what's a decent gym worth?
