When I create new threads, it doesn't show up in the "new posts" section. Also, if something is added to one of my threads, it doesn't show up. I have my controls set to "public". What's going on?

After you add a new thread, are you refreshing your browser. If not thats why, refresh and it should be there

When you post or make a new thread and then hit "new posts" it wont show until someone else posts on it, then it will show as new. If no one replies, it wont show up again to you as new.

I guesss i'm not understanding you then...???

If you make a post, then after posting it you hit "new posts" its not going to show there until someone else posts after you. It shows up for all the other members under "new posts".
The only acception is if you posted under introductions, that has to be approved by staff first.

I know what you are saying. Even if someone else adds to my post, it doesn't show in the "new posts" section. That's why I'm confused. Why won't it show up there?

The strange thing here is that I can see all of your new posts on your threads. :S I wonder why you can't?

I'm sure Dave will update you on this.

I'm stumped on that one too... if someone posts after you, it should show up :S

The only reasons a post wouldn't show up as new is if you already read it or you marked the forum(s) as read. Other than that, they should show up.
