Hello Everyone,
Tomorrow I am going to be moving Kingsley and Trooper up with Layla and Monti :happy4:  :happy4:
I was wondering if I should cover the cage while I am carrying it upstairs or just let them look around. The only thing is that; they are not tame yet and so they might fly around like maniacs when I go to lift there cage up. I don’t know what to do or what would be the easiest way to move them????? :confused1: :confused1: :confused1:

When I bring my budgie cages up and downstairs, I cover it partially. They seem to handle it just fine...but of course, my budgies are moved up and down the stairs everyday since they spend the days downstairs and they sleep upstairs. ;)

I do the same as budgikin does. mine are in the livingroom during the day and bedroom at night. Jake has "night fright" so we keep them where I can watch them. We leave a night light on. She also is afraid of thunder and lightning. this way she is all safe.

When i carry my guys around i don't cover them, they like looking at everything around them.

Thanks everyone, I think I am going to cover just a portion of the cage, but leave it so they can look out also. Well, I am going to move them now, I'll tell everyone how the introduction goes.
