OK, So he's going to take down the cage he built, I don't want to take NO chances - I don't have a pressure washer don't know any one with one,

SO i'm just going to buy one Like I had planned to do to at the very start BUT he just wouldnt listen to me

So what i need now is some help, there are so many cages on this website that I like, But i wanted to get ya'lls opioion as to which one do you think would be best for more then one Budgie and a few toys - they play outside the cage most of the time, but I' want some toys inside as well

I'm only looking to spend under 100 dollars and this site has free shipping :-)

Which one one you choose for 2 ( possiably 3 or 4 later ) budgies

Hey atvchick,
The bigger the better with budgie cages...also a wider cage is better than a taller one, because they like to fly back and fourth not just strait up and down.

hope that helps

I am not sure that a power washer would be absolutely necessary to wash off the galvanized wire you are thinking of using. More importantly, it's the vinegar and water solution. However, even after having said that, I guess it would be best to err on the safe side.

And yes, the bigger the cage you can get for the price you want to pay, the better.

This is kind of funny... I was shopping for another cage, and I, too, was looking at the same shop to buy from... Desmond Pet Depot. I've never seen that site before though... they sell the same cages for less on eBay. That's where I bought my first cage from. Kind of sneaky, but if you go to eBay you'll pay a lot less for the same cage. The 18x14x58 with stand- $59.99 at their web site, on eBay you'll pay less than $45. The way it works is they start the bidding at 1 cent and charge a set amount of shipping which works out to be the cost of the item. They have auctions ending all the time, so you don't have to wait long for an auction to end. There don't seem to be any bidding wars on their items because there are plenty listed.

Here's their eBay store address so you can shop for exactly whatever you want...

Should the cage for budgies be higher or wider?

I've seen some nice sized ones some are more tall then wide and others are more wide then tall and some are in the middle of both LOL

wasn't sure if higher was better then wider or the other way around

Wider is better, If your going to get more birds I think you said you wanted a few more. The size should be at least 30 accross and not smaller than 18 deep or I have mine in a 30x18x18 but in the future I am looking into getting one that is also taller so they can fly up and accross. but I would not go smaller than this the site I clicked on most of them were 14 deep and that is just really small cause of wing span and where you put the perches. Thats my opinion though but I would not go smaller than what I said above and bigger would be better if you can find it for the money you have. good luck.

Click Here (http://www.featherfarm.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=21&products_id=40)

If you can afford just a couple bucks over one hundred, it has free shipping, is sturdy, and can hold four budgies... Nice, eh? I've never had one, but I hear great reviews.

Hi! atvchick, I have the cage that Marsheliah marked in her post. I like it and my birds love it! They fly around like little helicopters and even though it is all vertical bars they can climb all over like monkeys too! I"ve seen this cage sold on other web sites, but the feather farm was the cheapest price and free shipping. It arrived in about 4-5 days. I wish I had more room in my apartment for more cages and more birds. :D Tina Marie

I found some i'd love to have, but With the space i have in my house - I wouldn't have no place to put them

But when ever i move( which my contract here is up Nov 1st & i've been looking) and get larger rooms, I'm deftinally getting one of the bigger cages i've seen
