Is anyone here a member of a band?
I'm just starting one! It's called '3rd Tide' and Millie, on here, is the lead singer and keyboardist, I'm the Flutist and admin and my other friend Sarah, is the Saxaphone player. We might have another singer joining us soon, but I don't think she will.
We've started a song called 'The only way' # 'The only way I can see, The only way I can go, The only chance for me, is you....#
I'm not a member of a band, although I wouldn't mind making one. I don't what I'd do though. I don't play any instruments, and I don't think I'm a very good singer (at least not in my opinion). I do think I have a voice like Bruce Springsteen (it's probably just my imagination though), so it could possibly be a Springsteen cover band. If it were that, I know a couple people who play guitar, some who play drums, bass, piano, and saxaphone. The only instrument I wouldn't have covered would be organ. Other than that, I think I'd be able to make a band like that.

i almost was!! i used to play drums but my parents sed they were too noisey so took them away :( we were a bit too disorganised to actually ever properly get together too, but we were going to!!
Sorry to hear about that Beanshoes!
Update!
We trashed the band name and are thinking of a new one..
We have a new member! There's me, Millie from here, and Millie's brother Joseph.
I'm giving up flute as it doesn't really go with electric guitar and keyboard!! Joseph is going to teach me either electric or base guitar! I've done acoustic.
We are going to be 're-opened' Tomorrow under another name!! :D Wish us luck!!
:P I was going to say how on earth could you hear a flute over a saxaphone!:D anyways...I don't really liek band that much the school forced us to take band it was ok but Im not crazy over music...or like it:rolleyes: Good Luck
My friends brother has a band, and they are pretty good. I can never be in one though, I hardly know how to hold any instrument yet alone play it. I tried learning guitar but to me it was a bit boring......lol.
Good luck with your band!

I've tossed the idea of a band in my head a few times... I used to go over and listen to my neighbor's band play every weekend in his basement, then once I started getting decent on guitar I jammed with them for a while. Now that they're all broken up I just mess around on my own, I've written a few comedy pieces but only one serious song.
