Male and male are actually the best pair you can get. :) They are very unlikely to fight and usually bond with each other pretty well. :)

Bond in as they will become great friends. They will become all love dovey with eachother. Atleast my brother's males are like that. Two males are better than male and female because they won't be able to breed with eachother. Neither will females if kept in pairs, but many people wouldn't recommend females to be kept in pairs as they become very aggressive towards each other once they go into breeding. Some males also become aggressive when they go into breeding if they get attached to a certain object. There are pros and cons to whether you get male and male, female and female, or male and female. Or at least I feel that way.

Male and male is an awesome duo with budgies. :D They're much more easy going than females, and you don't need to worry about eggs or anything. ;)

Bluebudgie, you got great replies to your post and I TOTALLY agree with them.
Just recently I had to return (exchanged for a young male) our female budgie because she was stirring everything up in the cage. She was beautiful but that's about it about her.

I now have 4 males and they are absolutely heaven to keep. They preen one another, "kiss" one another, sleep cuddled up next to one another. Just a perfect male budgie quartet. :)

Go for the males. They will fill your house with endless chirping.

I agree with everyone here, two males should get along great!. Although I have had no real experience myself with having two males together, my friend has and they are great friends.;) :cool: .

Mine are two males, they dont get along as well as my first male and late hen did, but theyre pretty happy together :)
