:eek: last night my bird missy was out off her cage for a while on her playground in my room i then put her back in her cage and went out into the loungeroom and a hour later i walked back out into the kitchen seen that the back door was open and said who went outside and my brother(mitch) said i went outside then i walked out to missys cage and she wasnt in there i panicked cause i thought shed gone for good i looked everywhere crying and mitch yelled out found her she was in my brothers room under the bed she didnt even chirp once and it was darktime and 3 doors were shut the toilet door bathroom door and my rooms door was shut bye from sammy and missy :budgie:

Boy I hate it when I can't find my budgies! Sometimes I just don't see them right away because they're in the back of their cages hiding behind toys and stuff. Sheesh! Who would have thought a budgie like my Kiwi would EVER be so hard to spot!!

Good, im glad Missy was ok. If Missy is out then always make sure the back door is closed! ;)

I lost one of my 'keets behind the washing machine once. I knew where he was, but he wouldn't come out, until I got a really long bird ladder and put it back there. (you know how hard it is to wire three birdladders together when you're all worried and upset!) Well, I'm glad you found your bird-- and, as for me, I keep the laundry room closed when my birds are out!! :p

Aww poor birdy. My budgie always finds his way out of his cage too. Thankfully he's always easy to find :) Make sure you give her a hug! lol
