Chrissie gets her man! xXx

When we first got Chrissie, it was clear to see that Mr Pie was interested in her and not Green. At the time they lived in separate cages. It was obvious that Chrissie liked him too. they used to spend hours chirping on one another. If Chrissie was living with another bird, i found she was less of a bully if she could see Mr Pie.
A couple of days ago we moved Chrissie in with Mr Pie. They seem to be getting along fine, but Chrissie keeps bending down and grabbing Mr Pie's leg with her beak. He is very uncomfartable with it and he tries to shake her off. Any ideas why she does this? Thanks in advance.

Chrissie sounds as if she wants to mate. What colour is her cere?

It is really crusty brown and i know she is in breeding condition. I suggested to my Mum that she may be trying to encourage Mr Pie to mate with her but my Mum dismissed the idea. Chrissie grabs Pies leg in a sly way, she bends her head down slowly then moves towards his legs slowly. She only hangs on for a couple of minutes then lets go.
Pie seems so reluctant to mate with her, why is this? :S When they were living in separate cages, they were going mad for one another. Now Pie's living with her, he does'nt seem bothered.
