when should the breeding box be put inside the cage? I know I have atleast 4 months to go, but just wondering?

When the hens cere is a dark brownish or crusty color or if the males' cere is a very light shiny blue color. This means they are in breeding season and at the right moment when you add a nesting box you'll have more chance of a fertile egg than if you were to just put it in there when they're not ready...One might be but the other might not thus resulting in an unfertile egg. Look for signs of affection from the male, larger droppings from the female, their cere color.

Ok thanks, like I said I have a few months to go before they will be atleast 1 yr. but just wanted to know what the warning signs were and to know when to put the box in, again thanks for the info.
