what does the male recessive pieds cere look like when he is ready to mate?, I know the females (no matter what type) turns a dark brown. I am going to go out today and buy a nesting box since i have the extra money but won't add it to the cage until I know for sure they are ready & old enough to mate.

Should be a bright blue color, not a crusty purplish blue or just blue. I mean shiny, reflective, smooth, bright blue.

but I was told that the male recessive pieds cere stays pinkish/purlish in color, will it turn still turn bright blue like all other males?

Honestly im not too good with mutatoins, but I've read somewhere that no matter what type of bird it will turn light blue when in breeding mood.
